Is there an Ion programmer out there that is frequently "busking", using a lot of direct selects, multiple cue lists, working on-the-fly, with the Ion console that's anywhere NEAR East Texas (Tyler)?

How close to Tyler do they need to be and what are you looking for them to do? Run a show? Help you out? Do some training?
I'm looking for some detailed help/advice in how best to setup the console to run things "on the fly". I want someone who's doing it, almost literally, day-in and day-out. I can do a lot of the things (focus points, direct selects, cue lists on faders), but there are a number of things that the manual doesn't cover in this regard as far as putting it all together. I'd like for them to come here and would talk $ if they could. If they knew anything about Paradigm, it would be a bonus! ANY help would be appreciated.
Hi Mike,
This is a great article about setting up a console to busk a show.

It is Nook's Ultimate Punt Page. I think it is a place to start to get you set up.
Sorry, I don't play much with the Ion, so I can't give really directed advice.
Take care,
John
Thanks. I'll read it and try to put it to good use.

I work for the ETC Rep in Dallas. I have good experience with both Paradigm and ION. While I am not programming the ION console in that manner on a daily basis, I would be more than happy to talk to you about anything you need. Let me know how I can help.
