move an effect on a cue part 2

Good evening,
I'm trying to move the trigger of an effect to Part 2. The effect is already recorded in a cue, but I'd like to put it in Part 2. However, it's impossible... when I select the circuits with the effect and record cue x Part 2, the effect remains in Part 1.
If my effect isn't already recorded in a cue, the problem doesn't arise because I can record it in Part 2 without any issues.
Have I missed something?
thanks

  • @ empire thanks very much.

    I'd forgotten that syntax.

If I want to move a stop effect into a part 2 cue (which is already recorded in the cue), how can I do it since the effect is no longer active, I unfortunately can't use that syntax anymore...

    Thanks
  • From my testing StopEffect works differently than Effects when dealing with parts. You should be able to move the Fixtures that you want to delay to a part 2 and the StopEffect (which seems to be stored on the Fixture itself) will move aswell.

This is most likely due to how Eos Treats Effects vs. StopEffect.

From my understanding, Effects are associated with a Cue and a selection which means if you move some part of your selection to a different Cue the Effect will remain in place.

StopEffect seems to be associated with the Fixtures themselves, so by moving the values to a different part, the StopEffects moves with it.
