Ion ML Palettes

Question

Hi! 
 I'm about to changeover into another show with the same designer, and we wish to re-use a lot of the palettes we wrote for our show currently running, but since I'm adding more intelligent fixtures for the next show, I'll need to move some addresses around to make everything fit (I've unfortunately only got one universe in the house and can't really afford to rent a node). 
 My question is, if I change the addresses on my ML's, but patch them to the channel numbers I used last, will the palettes work or must the addresses remain the same?

Jeff, you should be just fine. Palettes data is based off of channel and fixture type. As long as those two remain the same you should be fine. If you do have to move a channel use the following in patch [starting channel #] [copy to] [destination channel #] {entire show} [enter]. That will make a copy that exists in all cues subs palettes, etc throughout the entire show.
