HELP Laser show or Projector effect

Question

Hi Everyone, 
 I am have been asked to recreate some light effect for a client, and i have been bouncing my head over the wall. 
 Maybe some one can help me out here: 
 I am trying to explore different possibility to what use if laser or projectors, based of course on what the venue can provide between the 2. 
 what are the pro an cons of the 2 ? 
 can i actually program staff with EOS using Laser or projectors ? 
 any advice ?

Hi. 
 As far as i know, Eos can not generate any media to output via a display out. If you want to use projectors with Eos, you're gonna have to do it with an external media server, which provides the content for the projectors, and connect it to Eos via OSC/Midi. 
 Projector Pros: Low Budget, Safe, Versatile, Easy to create Content, Most likely available locally at your venue. Projector Cons: Lower Contrast (depending on the Projector ofc), External Media server which needs to be Setup/Managed/linked/triggered. 
 The effect in your reference pictures seems to be only possible with actual lasers for me. If they are DMX programmable, Eos will work just fine with them. In most parts of the World you need to get certified to use lasers. Please do research on your local regulations for the laser class you're trying to operate. 
 Laser Pros: Very high contrast, Can do a punchy Light curtain effect, Can be patched and used natively in Eos Laser Cons: Regulated (You need to get certified), likely less versatile (Can't playback advanced content or Videos). Most likely not available locally at your venue. 
 Personally i would stay away from lasers and try to get a similar effect with a projector.
