XYZ Values Not Storing Into Cues

Hello....

Gio, 3.3.2b36....

Seeing an issue with XYZ parameters not being stored into cues.

So if in live I go:

1 Pan Tilt Record Preset 1

I see all of P/T/X/Y/Z set to Preset 1.

But when I then go RECORD CUE 1, then P/T show as being in Preset 1, X/Y/Z show values.

Same happens with any other method of recording, ie:

1 RECORD CUE 1

1 UPDATE CUE 1

UPDATE CUE 1

If I then go into blind and go 1 PRESET 1, X/Y/Z don't change to being in preset 1.

But strangely there are some cues where the lights do have p/t/x/y/z all set to the right preset. I can't figure out what's different about those cues. But these are the worst because in tombstone view you see the PT indicator showing in blue but the preset not changing as the X/Y/Z values suddenly drop in to the same preset.

It's a bit weird.

Anyone else seeing this? Or is this a showfile-specific thing?

  • No, that's not quite the issue:

If I focus using pan/tilt then go 1 pan/tilt RECORD PRESET 1, the preset contains the P/T values AND the (greyed out) X/Y/Z values as it always has. On the live screen, I see P/T/X/Y/Z all showing as being in preset 1, again as has always happened.

My (new) problem is that when I then record a cue - or more specifically if I selectively record, so 1 RECORD CUE 1 ENTER, ONLY the P/T values are appearing in that preset in that cue. The X/Y/Z values are appearing as numbers. This is new and wrong.

More curiously, if I step through cues in blind I can see instances where a channel's P/T parameters are tracking in the same preset but the X/Y/Z values are changing from cue to cue.

Toggling X/Y/Z format in ML controls makes no difference to this.

Sometimes, though, the X/Y/Z values ARE appearing in cues in presets. In testing this morning, just recording a cue (RECORD CUE 1 ENTER) seems to store the XYZ values in the preset into the cue. But yesterday I was definitely seeing instances where this was not the case.

As mentioned in a later follow up by me, the same thing seems to be happening with the virtual Hue/Sat parameters.

    I made a movie....
