Can I mirror the internal display via the displayPort on the Gio @5?

Can I mirror the internal display via the displayPort on the Gio @5? This worked temporarily after I plugged in a display when the desk was already booted up fully. However, when the display was plugged in prior to boot up, it then registered the display as a second screen, and I cannot get it to revert to original behaviour. Understand this is likely expected behaviour, but I’d been using the mirrored display to monitor the console via a KVM, which does not work when the display is extended instead of mirrored.

    For what purpose do you want to mirror the screen? if it is for an LD to see the screen, can you add a laptop to the network and mirror that? Remember software and library versions must exactly match for this to work and in mirror mode you do not need a dongle for it to work on the laptop.

    Thanks for the reply Geoff. I work mainly in Film & TV, where I will often have to step away from the console to remotely make quick changes via a magic sheet. I had recently set up a KVM with a Gio@5 after reading the article below (I am not trying to do this over WAN, only LAN). On initial setup it worked fine, as outlined in my post, but the behaviour has since changed and I cannot revert to original behaviour.

    I do not see any option in Display settings to mirror the primary display. This is a standard Windows display function, so I wondered why it had been limited, and thought I was either missing something or that it could be a bug. 

    I have tried running a tablet as a client over WiFi as an alternative option, but given the less reliable nature of doing this I’d prefer not to rely on it. When the KVM worked it was very reliable, had a high refresh rate, and was not affecting the integrity of the Eos session in any way.
