Multi-Console Setup, Nomad & Original Element (running 2.9.3)

2.9.3 does run on silicon macs. To successfully connect make sure that Nomad is running in Element mode.

Confirming that Nomad is running in Element mode and is running a matching version & fixture library.

My question came from this note from Page 408 of Element Original manual for 2.9.3 states: "Only Intel-based Macs can connect as a client."

That's a leftover from old times and can be ignored. Before Intel there were PowerPC processors. This sentence was added to the manual to emphasize that Nomad (or actually the Eos Offline Editor, as this was before Nomad times) on Macs running PowerPC-Processors don't support clienting.

Good to know. Question for Macs: with an ethernet adapter, do I need to disable the wifi for the entire time? I configured the network settings as described by the user manual. Trying to pinpoint what went wrong.
