Different categories on same DMX channel

Hi,
a case discussed on french facebook group.

How eos can run a fixture with different categories on same DMX channel?

If we patch an "ADJ Spherion Tri Led 3ch"

Strobe is mixed with intensity on DMX channel 2, but it's impossible to edit in fixture library editor.

If we export an ASCII, we can found both categories and details.

How could we manage that kind of fixture?

To edit the profile, copy it first and then where you have the ranges you can add a range to get the strobe to work. This will mean that when an operator takes the level beyond dmx 199 the fixture will strobe until the level is at dmx 248-255.

if you want a strobing light consider using an effect. Flexible and then there is no unwanted strobe when another person is operating unaware of the profile settings.
