Adding a Virtual Color Temperature to a LED CwWw Fixture

Hi. We have added some LED CwWw sheets to our set pieces and I was wondering if it is possible to add a virtual color temperature to control the colour of the LEDs. 

I am using the Generic CwWw 16bit Fixture in the desk and I have tried adding both Color Temperature, Color Temperature Adjust and Color Temperature Range, but it doesn not seem to do anything. I am currently just watching my SACN output tab as the set pieces is not done, but if I have both cool and warm LEDs on from the desk and then try to adjust with my color temperature I see no change on channels in SACN viewer.

    Hi. I've tried adding a virtual color temperature to a fixture, and there seems to be no change in color values. 

    If a fixture has CCT it is usually a feature that is implemented on the physical fixture level afaik (so you only have to send one DMX channel for CCT).
    In your case, you're trying to manipulate the relation of CW and WW with a single channel, which I'm not sure is possible.

    However, color palettes can really help you here. You can batch create hundreds of color palettes to control your two color values relative to each other. 

    In Blind: Color Palette: [Color Palette X thru thru Y] will create a range of color palettes.

    Select X thru Y Color Palettes and go into Edit mode: [Channel X Cool White @ 0 thru 100 Warm White @ 100 thru 0] will create a range of color palettes which can emulate CCT where Color palette X is the Warmest and Y is the Coldest. 

    Making these Color palettes "by type" and locking them will ensure that all of your CwWw fixtures can use the same palettes and you don't accidentally update your palettes.
