Single Channel Changes Throughout Cue List

I should know this!

We have 30 cues. In cue 5 we have a ML pointing to right spot at right intense etc.

We are using "Cue Only"! (ouch)

How can I copy all the parameters for this one device only into all the following cues without changing anything else in them?

  • Like others have said, @ Enter syntax makes the most sense in your case. In the context of controlling channel values, it can be thought of like a RecallFrom Cue Last (even if that's not universally true for every part of the desk).

You can also manually overwrite Tacking behavior in CueOnly/Tracking Mode when using the [QOnly Track] button. The fastest syntax without having to select a cue scope in blind is, with Cue 6 selected in Blind: Chan X @ Track Enter.

This will track the values for Chan X in cue 5 until the next move instruction without having to worry about typos in your cue scope. CueOnly Mode can be a lot faster with a little bit of tasteful tracking.

Just fyi, Tracking Modes are User-specific and can be changed at any time. So you can set up a second user, just for you, with Tracking mode enabled, so you can test if you would really be better off using tracking mode in your workflow. Tracking mode can be challenging with rapidly changing cue structures, so there are valid reasons for using Cue Only.
