for our small cinema, I'm running Eos software (3.3.5) on a laptop with gadget for control of the auditorium and "stage" lighting.
I purchased a used 2x20 fader wing for easier playback on larger events with added LEDs for decor, and for non-lighting people to push faders for house and stage lighting.
I've been running 2 Ions in my other 2 venues for 15+ years, each with 80 or 100 faders, will all the fader wings permanently attached.
I've plugged the Used 2x20 fader wing into the USB of the laptop, with Nomad running, but no luck.
the LCD screens on the fader wing are blinking on off, with a line going across the screens L to R, and 3 of the 4 banks of LED are pulsing red in time with the screens.
1) can a laptop drive a fader wing? (I probably should have asked before buying it from an ETC rep).
2) anything I need to turn on in Settings in the software, or in Shell settings?
Nomad Shell / Maintenance / Detected Modules doesn't show the fader wing like it does for Ions.
