[BUG] Disabling OSC TX/RX does not work

When I disable OSC TX and RX (and just to be really sure also for the UDP connections) I can still fire cues from an external source (QLab). I am on Eos v 3.3.5 on a Gio@5 and the connection is through the second NIC on the console.

The indicators on top of the cue list disappear as they should. The only way to disable show control is to disable Third Party OSC in settings. But I prefer to have a visual indicator for this. It used to work fine in previous releases of Eos.

  • It is expected behavior that this TCP connection doesn't follow the general OSC TX and RX setting in setup, as those apply to OSC over UDP.

Port 3037 OSC TCP connections (introduced in 3.1) are handled through Setup > System > Mobile Apps > Allow App Connections (starting in 3.2) and (as you found out) through Setup > Device > Network > Third Party OSC.

If you're sending actual show control commands you can disable them through their show control event list as well.
