ChromaZone12 fixture profile / lamp on macro

In a couple of weeks time I will be lighting a show which has a scenic element consisting of 30 LED panels connected to 3 Pulsar 'ChromaZone12' controllers. I have found the relevant profile in the fixture library but looking at it using the offline editor I cannot see how to control the individual panels, it seems to present a global control for the 12 outputs. Would I be better off using 30 basic LED profiles instead?

I would also be grateful if someone would be kind enough to show me how to create a lamp on macro to control a mixture of ROBE ColorSpots and ColorWash units.

Thanks in advance

Ian

  • Hi Ian.

You are correct, your best option at the moment would be to patch each panel as an individual LED RGB.

    With regards Lamp Ctrl Macros:

I'm not sure which fixtures/modes you are using, but it looks like the fixture profiles differ slightly with their Lamp commands. There are a couple of ways around this depending on what you need your macro to do. Does it need to Lamp on all fixtures at once all of the time, or do you need to be able to select specific channel(s) to lamp on individually?

  • Hi Graham

Thanks for advice re the Chromazone units.

As for the macro I would like to switch all units on in a single command.

    Regards

    Ian
