Hmmm... not at the moment. We are pondering adding additional granularity to the snapshot controls for playbacks. But, what states would you be interested in not having changed?
thanks,

I've had Snapshots bite me on the proverbial once, with 'pending cue' recalling with fader page recall.
I can see the usefulness of this, and have obviously learnt from my misjudgement, but maybe it could be added as an option?
Warren.
To get around the fader page issue you can learn a macro but this doesn't help if you need to change. the mapping of the faders.
The fader page macro works on Eos but I've not checked on Ion.

All I was thinking was having an option so the states of the faders would not change but the pages would. This strikes me as an easy quick access to the different pages of subs. But if the fader levels reset each time you use the snapshot ..... not nearly as useful. I guess my take on the snapshots is more of a display/setup rather than working states of the console.

Hi Andrew
I'm sure this will get added at some point but for now the work around is to record macros to do the same thing and you will get the result you want.
Nick
When you assign this macro to a cue list does it still run on the master rather than the desk that fired the [GO]?
(I'm not programming this current show and can't try it on my ION!)

Tom, this does not help you now, but this particular issue has been address in 1.9.5. Right now (1.9.1) , because the master is the device actually executing the cue, the macro is fired on that device. This is changed in the next release.

Thanks Nick. The macro workaround works just fine.
