I am having some programming difficulties with the EOS software and am wondering if there is someone who can shed some more insight on a bit of logic that I may be missing and how to make things interact in a predictable manner.
What I am trying to accomplish is a cue-list based busking showfile with a group of fixtures controlled by an intensity master cue list fader whilst having the ability to layer on an intensity effect (for the same group of fixtures) via a submaster in a HTP manner. As I pull down the Int Master fader the intensity effect starts to show up on stage.
Using HTP between a cue list and a submaster in this instance makes sense, however the intensity master fader when used like this does not allow for proper HTP. Eos is comparing the cue list value of full or 50% when brought down from the intensity master to the value of null in the submaster and thus the effect isn't taking control over the fixture.
When using another Sub or the temporary fader then the playing field is correct for proper HTP control.
Anyone have any insight into how to make things interact a little better without having to split control onto additional faders or lose the added features of using a cuelist such as discreet timing?
