On my recent show I copied a non-dim channel used for a fan {plus show} and patched in the new address for the non dim. I had an inhibitive sub for all my fans and at the time of copying the channel the sub was at 0. I noticed that the new fan channel was not inhibited even though when looking in blind at the sub, the information had copied over from the donor channel to the new channel correctly.
Putting the inhibit sub to full and then back to 0 inhibited the channel as expected. Given inhibits are often used as a safety thing I would expect the safest approach would be to immediately apply on patching any inhibit copied over.
