Bug: Fan_ Center Fan_ Repeat syntax broken

I am encountering this bug in v3.3.8.7 as well as v3.3.6.60

I am not encountering this bug on v3.3.5.69

I have Macros for "Fan_ Center", "Fan_ Repeat", "Fan_ Cluster" as I find it faster than the softkeys.

In v3.3.5.69 and previously if I used these Macros in combination I could do "Group 1 Fan Center Fan Repeat 2 Enter". This would behave the same way as if I had used the Softkeys and gotten "Group 1 Fan Center Repeat 2 Enter".

Now though when combining the Macros for Center and Repeat, or Center and Cluster, it gets changed to "Group 1 Fan Reverse Repeat" or "Group 1 Fan Reverse Cluster"

I tried relearning all the Macros just in case but that didn't help

I made a Macro for "Fan_ Reverse" to see how it would behave, and if I use the Reverse Macro in combination with Repeat or Cluster instead of getting what you would expect, I get "Group 1 Fan Mirror Out Repeat"

I then made a Macro for "Fan Mirror_Out" to see how it would behave, and if I use it in combination with Repeat or Cluster instead of working I get "Group 1 Repeat Error: Number Out Of Range"

Currently all tested on MacOS Sonoma 14.8.7

  • If you remove [Fan] from your macros, they will still work. so [Repeat 3] or [Mirror out] with Fan.

  • Yes I did this after I understood the new function of multiple [Fan] presses that I had missed in the Release Notes. Unfortunately it does not work as well as with the old syntax, as when you remove the Fan_ part from the Macro, you can't also use that macro as a starting place because it will give you a syntax error for "Channel 1 Thru 10 Repeat". So before I could hit my "Fan Center" macro and then my "Fan Repeat" macro to get an effective Fan Center Repeat, or I could just hit my "Fan Repeat" and get just Fan Repeat on the CMD Line.

It's frustrating that the old functionality was broken, but I can understand why some people would want the multiple press [Fan] functionality as it is similar to functionality in other desks, it's just not my personal preferred workflow
