My NOMAD ---> Other NOMAD

Hi all !!!

"I am currently working with an ETC Eos Nomad. I have an upcoming show in another venue that also uses an Eos Nomad. Their house rig is a permanent setup with a lot of fixtures patched across four universes. Since everything is already patched and configured for their system, what is my best option? I am thinking about merging my cues into their showfile to keep their configuration intact. Is this the right way to do it, or is there a better alternative?"

Here is what Gemini is suggesting me to do... but i take it with a grain of salt...   What do you think ?

Again, thank you so much for your help !

Channel Reassignment Workflow (Change To)
"If your venue’s channel numbers do not match mine, I will reassign my channels before merging the showfiles. Eos has a built-in Change To function that automatically updates a channel number across the entire showfile (including cues, submasters, and palettes) with a single command.
Patch Syntax:
  1. Go to the Patch display.
  2. Type: [Old Channel] [Format] (this brings up the 'Change To' softkey) {Change To} [New Channel] [Enter].
  3. Example: Channel 1 {Change To} 101 [Enter] will instantly move all data from channel 1 to channel 101 everywhere in the show.
My Workflow Strategy:
I will perform this channel cleanup on a copy of my showfile on my own laptop before arriving at your venue. Once my channels match your house rig patch, I will perform the Merge on your console."

Essential Macros for the Guest Operator
"To save time and ensure smooth transitions during tech headers, I use two standard Eos macros:
Macro 1: "Go to Cue 0" & Submaster Reset (Safety Clear)
This macro instantly clears all active submasters, drops any manual overrides, and resets the main playback to the top of the show.
  • Macro Syntax: GoToCue Out [Enter] Sub 1 Thru Out [Enter]
Macro 2: Direct Merge Menu Shortcut
This macro bypasses navigating the browser menus to quickly load the USB import screen.
  • Macro Syntax: Displays File Merge [Enter]"

How to Record these Macros on the Eos Nomad
"1. Press [Macro] twice to open the Macro Editor.
2. Type [Macro Number] (e.g., Macro 1) and press [Enter].
3. Click the {Edit} softkey on the screen.
4. Enter the command syntax exactly as listed above.
5. Click {Done} to save."
