I'm having problems with MVR import from Vectorworks for my full design, so I thought I'd try the most basic example and I'm still having problems.
Created a blank Vectorworks drawing, added one Source4 at the origin. Set the channel, purpose, and absolute address fields. Export all objects to MVR. Then I did an MVR import in ETC Eos into a new show file. The patch updates with the new fixture, but it has no position information, and the label field is blank, and the color information is not passed into to gel field.
When I tried my original design import I was able to import all the set geometry and the lighting patch, but no position, label, or color data is being imported. (so the exact same symptom as my simple single-fixture test)
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Using Vectorworks 2025 and 2026, ETC Eos 3.3.7 and 3.3.8
