Ion Fader Wing submasters not functioning as expected

Hi,

I have an ETC Ion that I recently updated the firmware on and now the Fader Wing is not working as it used to. When I assign a submaster to the fader wing and move the fader from 0-100, the channels of the submaster don't change value until about 80. They then come on at 80% and fade from there to 100%. I have checked the curves and don't see anything that would cause this behavior. Prior to the firmware update, this never happened. I deep cleared the console and still this behavior persists. What is going on here?

Hi Chris,

This is definitely odd behavior. To verify that it is indeed a hardware issue with the wing, run the Face Panel Test from the Shell. (Exit ION, then click on Settings -> Maintenance -> Face Panel Tester)

Once in the test application, click on Universal Wings.

Check the fader operation.

A call to Tech Support will most likely be necessary, we may need to roll your firmware back, or perhaps replace the wing. 1-800-688-4116 will get you in touch with Tech Support in the USA.
