Hi there. Am not quite sure what you mean. Could you provide a bit more detail about what you are trying to do?
Thanks,

Dear Anne,
Sorry, the question was if we can control several dimmers patched to one channel as a RGB channel
The use of this is to light a background plastic by controling a whole serie of devices as one source
Thanks again

You really need to set these up as an RGB device. If you just patch several dimmers as dimmers - we see them as only intensity params.

if you have a cyclorama for example you can have 3 colors (red, green, blue) for cycliodes and just want a chanel with an RGB device for controlling the cyclo
I doubt it!
Everything I patch that requires more than one address is My choice for the First channel and automaticly selects the next addresses until it has enough.
However.......................................................
In my spare nonshow time(notmuch) I'm attempting to get our Cyc Lights to do something similar. But I have the need for 2 channel(color, Red/Blue) controll of 8 dimmers. My space doesn't allow for RGB in my 3-cell cyc lights,I don't like it much. If I get it, I'll post the fixture.
I think I found a work around for you.
Start with a Generic- LED RGB.
Copy the fixture 3 times to create 3 Custom Fixture, and call them Red, Green, and Blue.
Edit each of the fixture. For the Red Fixture, select the DMX Channels of Green, and Blue, and enter "0". This will keep the attribute, but remove the control channel. Make sure you keep all remaining attributes (Green, Blue, Intensity, Hue, Saturation, and Brightness).
Do the same for the Green and Blue channels, but remove the DMX control for Red and Blue, and Red and Green respectively.
Once the custom fixtures have been created, you can select the control channel for your cyc fixtures. Create 3 parts, and make each part your custom fixture of Red, Green, and Blue.
You can assign a different dimmer to each part.
Good luck. Hope this works.
thanks a lot it works
