Hi Jay.
As far as I know, the Element Classic is a Windows XP desk and can not be upgraded to eos v3.X.X.
ETC did offer Windows 7 rebuilds on some consoles, but I can't find any details on whether the Element Classic was one of them.
In any case, I was told by ETC reps that the next major version of EOS (v3.4) will be the last feature update for Windows 7-based consoles. So even if you were able to upgrade to Windows 7, you would be end-of-life again around next Winter.
Your best option is to open up the desk and unplug the USB dongle. You can use this dongle to unlock a Nomad PC on the latest version of Windows, so you can be a Client in the session with the latest EOS software.
Hope this helps.
