Auto Playback not Playing Back Existing Cues

Autoplayback is switched on.  When we make brand spanking new cues they autoplayback as intended, it just seems that re-recording existing cues from whilst being elsewhere in the cue stack stops autoplayback from doing what we want.

Vic, when you do this, are you actually doing this as a selective store (channel select store cue 2 enter)?  A selective store doesn't change the active cue.  Could this be what's going on?

It's not a selective store. So I don't think it's that.  I can't make my OLE replicate the problem either.

Andi D suggested it might be something to do with our setup here?  We are running an RPU as a main and programming on an Eos as a backup.  Autoplayback is enabled on both units.  Anything I ought to check?  When we get a chance we will deep clear and see if that helps.

Hmmm... no, that shouldn't matter - that's a pretty common way to setup the system and I've not recalling any reports along those lines.    Well, let's dig.  Are both devices setup as the same user (shouldn't matter either - but am just data gathering)?  When you record the cue, I'm assuming you see cue 2 as the selected cue (gold highlight? and shown on the command line?).  When you hit go, what happens?  Cue 3???

I'm seeing the same thing when I re-record over an existing cue. 

Programing from the Eos set to backup and User 2. RPU is Primary User 1.

I think Vic is out on a drunken rampage through the streets of London this evening (despite being of small stature, she rampages rather well...)

However, she did say to me earlier that they appeared to have 'fixed' this problem with a deep clear... possibly worth a try?

I'm sure Vic will elaborate further once the hangover has cleared tomorrow...

I tried these cases out and didn't see anything odd.

Marc or Vic, if you are still seeing it not autoplayback, let me know.

I tried a deep clear to no avail.

Dan, I'm still seeing this consistently.

Anne, when I'm sitting in cue 1, re-record cue 2 (leaving me in cue 1) and hit GO, I go into cue 2 not cue 3.

Also, I found that if I record a new cue numerically earlier in the cue list I get the same result.

We haven't seen the problem since the deep clear, but we have been mainly updating since then.  I am back in on Saturday, so I will keep my beady eyes peeled to see if I can work out what it is that we are/were doing.

Speaking of Updating, it seems that record is behaving exactly like Update (when rerecording existing cues and recording new cues out of sequence — in the above example recording a new cue 0.5 or cue 4, for instance), including leaving channels manual if they have move instructions between the current and target cues.
