Replace With does not work with Intensity

We just tried to replace one channel with another through a cue range:

[cue][x][thru][y][enter]   [old channel]{Replace With}[new channel][enter]

But when we tried to hit the replace with soft key we got a Syntax Error prompt.  This made us sad.

We ended up having to use recall from and then clearing out the data for the old channel.

Should Replace With work with intensities, or does it only work on palettised data?

  • Ah, girlfriend .... you are trying to use replace with as a sort of auto-mod function!!!!  Well, it doesn't do that.  (Although we are starting to work on that).  Replace with is based on current data.  So channels 1 through 100 at 40 replace with 50 - select all of the channels in the range that are currently at 40 and makes them 50 instead.
