Lamp off request?

I am the head electrician in a facility that sees use from many different groups, and cannot be there on a constant basis to oversee things.  We have been having an issue lately with people not lamping off or movers before powering down the console at the end of the day.  Would it be possible to have the console display a prompt when powering down that would ask if the user would like to lamp off all capable fixtures? Would this be useful to anyone?

I know even for myself after a long day it is easy to forget this one step and then I have to wait for the console to reboot or kill power to the fixtures while they are hot.

    1. Would you also like a prompt reminding operators to replace the dust cover, turn off the booth lights, and bring in the dog and put out the cat (don't talk back)?    Perhaps an "End of Day Shutdown Procedure Checklist" would be warranted?

    2. Does the facility typically remove power from the fixtures overnight?  I've gotten conflicting advice from lamp vs. fixture manufacturers as to whether it's better to lamp off, wait ten minutes, then kill power; or just kill power to a lit lamp and walk away.  In any case, if I occasionally forgot to unstrike before powering down the board, I wouldn't worry too much about killing power to hot fixtures.
