As long as you sign in with your ipad with the same account as your iPhone, you can go to the app store, download it, and it will say you have already purchased it and allow you to download it for free!

Exactly! This works for all the apps form iTunes, not just iRFR.

This way you pay once, and you can have it on all your mobile devices: iPhone, iPad & iPod touches. I'm using my iPhone currently and getting 2 iPod touches to have as well this December. I look forward to giving a iPod to the riggers so they can properly wring out the pre-rig.

I'll get an iPad next year.
