DMX Profile for Elation Design Spot 575b

Hi Jake,

What version of the 575B are you running?  It appears, according to Elation's manual, that there are three modes:  Basic (13 channel), Standard (15 channel), and Extended (20 channel).

I BELIEVE ours are the 15 channel models. I have no way of knowing for sure until this coming Monday.

I'll make sure you get the proper personality.  Watch for a email with more information from me tomorrow AM when I'm back at the office.  It's not too much more work to create the 13 and 20 channel versions, so we can explore that when you know more about how your fixtures are set up.

As far as the the different configurations go, I asked around over in the elation forums and it appears the three configurations depend on how many DMX addresses the designer wants to use / what features they want to have available to them. As far as our system goes, we don't need to worry about rationing DMX addresses. All of our DMX addresses are in a separate universe, and with all of our multi-paramater instruments, we won't get anywhere near that 512 mark.
