Offline update not taking...

Hey, guys.

Our designer is dual booting on a Mac (using Parallels, running OSX and Windows XP), and is attempting to update his Offline software from v1.7 to v1.91. He can update the Mac side with no trouble, but cannot seem to update to v1.91 or even uninstall v1.7 on the PC side. Any thoughts on why this might be?

Hmmm... Emily....can you uninstall Eos completely from Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs and then installing 1.9.1?

He cannot uninstall the program. The uninstall process completes, but the program never disappears from Add/Remove Programs.

Hi Emily,

Hmmm... Well another option is to re-run the v1.7 installer and see if it gives you the option to Remove the program. Once you've done that try installing v1.9.1 again. When you install v1.9.1 make sure you are running the Offline installer and not the Console installer too :) If that still doesn't work, it would be best to call ETC Technical Services and they can help troubleshoot the problem over the phone.
