Can anyone tell me if it is possible to customize the menu/screen on the RFR? If not, is ETC working on an update to allow users to do this? It would be a very useful option. Thanks

How would you prefer the Menu Screen to be better customized? What do you not like about the way it is now?
I would like to be able to edit what each box on the screen does. If there was a way to plug the unit in to the console than go to a screen that you could just drag any function/button that is on the console into a box. I would really like to be able to have moving light functions on the RFR. Like Focus, Color, Beam. Thank you for taking my thoughts into consideration.
I second that request, some of the softkeys on the rfr are less than helpful at our venue, it would be nice to be able to replace {trace} with {address}.
Hi guys. Some of this has been addressed in the 1.9.5 software release. I'd be interested to know, though, what the primary tasks are that you want to accomplish from your RFR?

I would absolutely LOVE to be able to calibrate scrollers from the iRFR!
I'd like to be able to get rid of the record functions in live and instead have the keys needed to check my scrollers at channel check
Yup, record is kind of useless. Being able to access Pan/Tilt would be useful, as well as other fixture attributes. Having the 2 scroll wheels would provide a Pan/Tilt control as well. It would be nice to take the RRFU to someplace on deck or to the house and touch up focus points (so maybe keep a record or update, add the ability to select focus/color/beam ?.

I'm not in front of my rfr, and I'm not sure what firmware version it currently has, but I don't recall there being a time option in the playback section. I would use this along with the go to cue command. I have my go to cue times set longer during show runs in case I have to jump cues without it looking bad (faster than loading a cue) so, if I need to check a cue from the deck preshow it uses the preset time. I would like the option to pick the time from the rfr.
The last show we had in programmed on ION used more than one cue list for the rig check and set-up but there wasn't a / key to allow me to select anything other than that running on the desk at the time, meaning a long slog back up to the control room if we needed to step out of sequence for any reason :-(
Oovis-
Press the . key twice to get the slash. That should save you some steps back to the booth.
As I said before, It would be great if there was a page for Moving lights. Mostly the focus (pan/tilt) and update.
I would like the ability to patch by both universe/address and not just absolute address. I was working off of the iRFR and dont recall seeing the / which would allow this.
And I just read 2 posts above me. <Hits head in disgust> Sorry guys, never mind.
Hi,
I prefer to have the „go to Cue“-function in Live.
Especially for “go to Cue out”
That would help a lot
Thanks
Just keeping on this. I really like the Channel Check feature that was added in 1.9.6. Although, always praying for the Pan/Tilt RFR capability.
