During a lesson session I was shown how to merge color palettes from one show to another and somehow using By Type to make the whole transfer easier. I know I did it once successfully on my own since then, but this time around it won't work.
What I've tried was:
Patching all my units (in this case, CXI ITs) in the current show file
Merging Color Palettes from the old show. These palettes are Locked and By Type already in the old show.
When I've finished the merge, the color palettes list some channels that have CXIs in my current show, but not all of them and include some other channels that are not CXIs in my current show. If I reselect By Type for the merged CPs some of the numbers change, but it's still not all the current show's CXIs and still has some channels that are not CXIs.
What step am I missing? Can I get directions for this again?
