Channels Used in Show

How would one print off (or the future plans for printing off) a 'channels used in show'. Or is it easier at the moment to create a group and then print that off?

 Cheers

  • Hey Chris..... at the moment, there is really no equivalent on Eos to the Obsession "Channels In Use" display.  We are adding Utility Reports to the 1.3 release, which is slated for November.  That will include a series of different usage reports (for IFCB palettes, presets), including a channel usage report.  These reports can be (ok, will be able to be) saved as a .pdf or the results of a single inquiry (FP 12 for example) will be viewable under "About."

    Will that work?

  • Continuing our theme of print outs. Just to clarify (because I’ve been asked if ‘it’ will);

    Is it (or will it) be possible to look at one lamp (or a range to lamps) and see how they are used in a cue (or a range of cues). In a similar way to how spreadsheet displays. For example so we are able to check cues with intensities and marking cues for FOH lanterns.

  • Hey Chris, at the moment, the Channels Used report will be similar to the Obsession Channels in Use display.   I have a draft of that report (and the IFBC/preset use reports) that I can send you to look at.

    Right now, within About, you can always see the first, last and next move.   I think what you are asking for is a little more like the old tracksheet mode of Expression?   It's only data, so many things are possible.  (I love to say that, because it makes the developer's toes curl).... But in the above report, are you thinking only of intensity changes?

  • Imagine being able to print out the blind spreadsheet page. Cue numbers down the side and fixtures along the top ideally with labels of pallettes. Literally printing out the blind spreadsheet page.

  • Anne,

    This printout is exactly what we are looking for as well.  Can't wait.
