Steve, please see the following (taken from the Eos 1.7 manual). Let me know if you need more info!
Selecting Displays
When a display is selected, the screen is highlighted in a gold border and the display name (such
as "1. Live Channel") will be in gold as well. When a display is not selected, there is no border and
the tab name is grey.
If a display is already open, it can be selected in the following ways:
If no tabs are to the right, the selection moves to the first tab on the left of all available monitors.
instances of live/blind, pressing [Live] or [Blind] brings the next live/blind tab into focus.
associated display or select it if it is already open.
To remove a display from a touchscreen:
Step 1: Select the display by pressing [Tab] & [display number] together. Display number is
indicated at the bottom left corner of the display (for example, "1. Live Channel").
When selected, it is highlighted in gold.
Step 2: Move the selected display by pressing [Tab] & [Page ←] or [Page →] together. The
display will move to the next available screen. You may have to do this more than
once to move it entirely off of the touchscreens. You can also close Tabs 3 and higher
by pressing [Escape].
For more information on moving displays,
As for Direct Selects
[Displays]
Navigate within the CIA down to {Virtual Controls} then {5x10 Direct Select Module} and {Open in Tab}
Hope this help!
Steve, you might also see a sticky post at the top of the forums called "help with displays." There is a PDF posted there that might be of use.
