Hi everyone. We are now entering open beta for sv 1.9.5. This software has been in closed beta for about 3 months and is anticipated to release in early January. Key feature set will follow. If you are interested in participating in the beta program, please drop me an email (anne.valentino@etcconnect.com). I will need to know your user name on these forums to sign you up.
Thanks much, as always. So, here's what is in it!
Virtual Media Server (this is a feature sometimes referred to as pixel bit mapping) A new condition for submasters called shield. The contents of a shielded submaster are automatically made exclusive, and cannot be controlled in any manner other than the sub, including manual selection. GM Exempt Channels. The intensity of channels set to GM Exempt are not impacted by Grand Master, Blackout, Rem Dim or Go to Cue 0. PSD option to allow timing elements in the cue list to count down. Holding Time toggles to a static display. When the PSD is left static, holding Time toggles to a dynamic countdown display. A channel level indicator has been added when a channel is patched as a non-dim. Flash on/flash off using Highlight + Full and Highlight + Out Use of the color and gel picker on "non-standard" LED fixtures (RGBA, RGBW, etc) Dual set of direct selects when opened on a tab. Century and millennium buttons when in expand mode. Flexi-Encoder state (suppresses parameters not applicable for current channel selection). Channel/Address check mode for the RFR. This is now the default screen for the RFR when engaged. Changes to the handling of dual scroller fixtures. Delay effects in cues. Cue release to last active source. Macro flag to force macros to run in the foreground (on the command line) or background, regardless of how the macro is triggered. By default, manually activated macros post to the command line, macros executed in other ways to not. This setting can override the default behavior. The return of Time / for setting downfade times. A new condition for cue playbacks called "Manual Master." When set to this mode, cues can be triggered manually without the need to hit the go button. Cues are trigged from either direction, so there is no need to home the fader to zero before triggering the next cue. Timed cues can still be run. Changes to update thru and the addition of update +. Yet more changes to mark, including automarks being displayed in blind, just as they would in live, and respecting marks when possible on cues loaded out of sequence. [Enable] and [Disable] flags added to any macro changing a setup option (rather than just acting as a toggle state). Addition to the .pdf printout. Setup tools for changing the resolution of trackballs. Encoders always disabled in blind until a paging button is pressed. Snap facility added to specified parameters. Expansion of the Serial I/O functionality.
