Split Live/PSD with Dual Monitors

Hey Bryan, not at the moment.  The split view is currently only an option when the system detects a single monitor.  I agree it would be a good thing to add to the display options.

I'm back on an Ion for the first time in a while (no Eos budget this week....damn prison's again Anne! This time a Women's one!), so thought I'd chip in on this one.

I think this feature on Dual Monitors would be a great feature to sneak in if possible, I can't tell you how much security clearance it took me to get my laptop cleared into the prison this week just so I could get a third screen!.

However, my BIGGEST thing on the Ion is my mourning still of the sad loss of SWAP...I'm finding this even more now. I have a lovely Tab open for my whole Century of Direct Selects on my ONLY touchscreen (those budgets again!) but darn it...if that CIA ain't only appearing on the other screen...all those lovely About buttons, and Paramater tiles out of my reach...I know Mr Mouse really wants me to use him, but shucks...I just don't really have the time to go near him.

In all seriousness, I think if it's not a huge task, is there any way that Ion could get the SWAP feature back in? Perhaps as a softkey when holding TAB? Or even just as a programmable Macro....

What might work:

Turn on the ION with just the touch screen connected.
start up and turn it off again...
Then connect the other monitor as well and turn the ION back on

you will find the CIA on the touch screen... (at least i did)

Your other option that has now appeared in 1.9.6 is that in the external monitor arrangement there is now a "primary" check box so you can select which screen you want to be your primary. This will effect which screen the shell and CIA appear on.

Thanks for both your comments...there's a bit more to my reasoning for the return of SWAP rather than just the CIA placement.

On the note of Primary display selection, with my Touchscreen being run via VGA, ION won't allow this monitor to be Primary....therefore...I will never get that darned CIA on to it sans Swap!

There are many other times that I would like a very quick way of switching displays without having to TAB Page...I won't list them...!
