1.9.6 patch "type"

Hi ETC

Could you clarify some changes in 1.9.6, and the patch features?

Under Type, we now have Fluorescent, and non-dim @ 50, and non-dim @ 100.

Are these to be used in place of Curve 905 (full at 1%), which is how I've patched the worklight fluorescents previously?

Or are these more of a way to label those channels, but we still need a curve applied?

Thanks.

  • Adding more questions (now that I've installed 1.9.6 and spent 20 minutes with it):

    In Patch: Type Fluorescent, Sconce, Chandelier, Non-dim @ 50, Non-dim @ 100.

Do these types affect other commands (ie Replace curves 905 (Full @ 1%) or curve 915 (Non-Dim)?  Do these types alter or control the address output level, or are they simply a way of putting a label on an address?

Using Non-Dim @50 or @100 does put a text label on the channel in Live mode.  Is Fluorescent or Sconce supposed to do the same?

Will Type Fluorescent make the address act as a non-dim?

Do Curves still need to be applied?

What is the difference between Curve 905 and 915?

    Thanks
