MAC 700 Iris controls incorrect

I just did a library update for my MAC700's and now the Iris controls are backwards. When you hit 'min' it gets big and when you hit 'max' it gets small. It's displaying the right percentages, 100 is full open and 1 is full closed, just seems like somehow the iris got swapped.

Did I do something wrong here? I went into the patch and did the "update library" on each of my fixtures, and this magically reversed the iris.

  • Brian,

In 1.9.5 we normalized the Iris parameter which means instead of going from 0 to 255 we now have modes and we are able to adjust the values within these modes. With the Iris parameter, we assume 100% equals the biggest beam (minimum Iris) and 1% equals the smallest beam (maximum Iris).

The values displayed on Eos are flipped from earlier versions but this is by design.

All output values exactly match the Martin Mac 700 Profile Basic and Extended DMX Protocol chart.

     I hope this explanation helps.
