So I have a fairly largish plot that consists mostly of conventional fixtures (Source4's), Movers, and scrollers. I do not have the entire plot hung and patched but I would like to manually patch the movers and scrollers so I can start working with them. If I do this, what will happen when I import the rest of the patch via ascii? Will it overwrite the existing patch or append to it?
I have done the soft-patch / import patch thing now for years, but have never been successful importing both conventional and automated fixtures(movers, scrollers, leds, etc.) as part of the main import. I would always have to go back and manually patch the advanced items. Maybe this exists, but it would be nice to be able to insert some sort of code into the patch file (either in VW or LW) such as, RO937581=Robe Color Wash 575 AT Zoom. If this is a possibility, I am all ears!
