Setting a time to Sneak intensities during Recall from Cue

In the manual, there is an example of setting a discrete time for the focus parameter:

[2] [Focus] [+] [Time] [Recall from] <Cue> [5] [Enter]

When I try this on a generic dimmer channel ( actually I'm wanting to do this mainly with groups of generic dimmer channels ), it gives me the : Syntax Error message.

I've tried variations, but haven't found the correct syntax, is there one for this example?:

channel 1 recall from cue 1 time 10 seconds.

Or, more to my needs: group 1 recall from cue 1 time 10 seconds.

I do not want the recall from intensities to snap to a level, because I'm grabbing large amperage groups.  I use the Ion with the default Sneak time @ zero.  So, one work around I know I can do, is change the default sneak time in settings.  Then, when I need to sneak with a zero time I can key it in that way, but when I need to do that, it is needed ASAP, so I prefer not to do the extra key strokes.  Another work around is: I have the big groups on inhibitive subs, so I pull that sub down, then do my recall from syntax, then restore my inhibs to full.  This is my go to fix, until you enlighten me otherwise! Thanks.

I got a reply, but, I'm always interested in learning another way if there is another way to shorten the syntax.

Rochem gave me some Assert advice, this is my response:

Rochem, Thanks, I'll love using this, it does work, but I seem to only get assert to work on the active cue; I can't get it to assert a recall from a prior cue. I get the error: "Only allowed on an active cue"... Granted, there maybe a way I'm still missing, but, if I don't have a inhib sub , like I described earlier, I could go to blind of the active cue I'm in, do a group recall, as I want, go to Live, and do the Assert then. That seems to work. Lots of key work, but still faster than what I've been doing. I need to recall a lot of fixtures & values( high ampacity=100's to 1000's of amps) from a past cue(s), without slamming them to level. So far this seems to work, using the desk settings Assert default time:

[Blind] [Group] [1] [Recall From] [Cue] [479][Enter] [Live] [Group] [1] [More SK] [Assert] [Cue] [Enter]. That is a lot of key strokes, but gets exactly what I want, much faster than looking up multiple fixtures in blind...all those channels done without a mistake. Ahh, Thanks again Rochem.
