Background Macros

I have a few Macros that I use on a daily basis that bring a group of channels to a level and then make the null. I recently made these macros 'background macros' so that it wouldn't affect what I was doing on the command line, which I LOVE by the way. The only problem is that, 'background macros' don't seem to allow me to make a channel null. I have tried writing the macro a few different ways, and nothing seems to work.

Attempt 1:

(#) + (#) + (#) + (#) @ 8 {Make Null} [Enter] doesn't do anything

Attempt 2:

(#) + (#) + (#) + (#) @ 8 [Enter] (#) + (#) + (#) + (#) {Make Null} [Enter] Sets the channels to 80, but leaves them as manual values.

I have reverted these macros to regular command line macros for now, but I would LOVE to be able to run them in the background. Anyone have any workarounds or suggestions?? Is this something that could be changed in a future release?

Hey there. I tried this using the following syntax:

channel list at 80 enter make null enter (basically the same as your second example without reselecting the channel list again).

This works in the foreground, but you are correct, for some reason won't run in the background.

We will get it written up and addressed in a future release.
