hey there.
i have an eos and an ion, where eos is primary and ion the backup. everything is setup and running, backup function works. now i want to load another show on the ion without influencing what i'm working on on the eos. so i pulled the ion's ethernet plug and clicked (take control). so far everything is fine. but when i want to return to the backup function and i replug the ion, it does switch back to the backup-label (yellow background), but it doesn't sync or connect. tried to "shut down ion" and then start the backup from the shell again, but still no connection. only when i powered down bothe desks and switched them on again, the backup sync worked again.
so: what would the correct procedure be to get the backup working again? if possible without powering down the main concole?
