EOS monitors A & B

So we were having a little discussion today at work.

I have always wanted someone to come up with a desk that works straight out of the flightcase.

The strand 300 was so close, except for the processor unit, and then you still needed a keyboard and trackball/mouse.

The EOS however is so close: with onscreen virtual QWERTY keyboard and touchscreens.

So my question: Is it possible to configure the A & B monitors onboard the EOS to be my Live and PSD tabs, with optional CIA as well if required - much like the two ouptuts on ION?

I'm pretty sure it can't be tabbed across, and I haven't yet found away from setup or shell to do it.

Any answers?

  • You can tab your PSD and Live/Blind displays to the A/B screens, but you have to close all of the direct selects modules first.  If a direct select module is set to one of those screens, the screen is not a valid location for a tab.  Displays --> Virtual Controls --> Close Module.

I often do this when I'm making batch changes to cues (labeling, etc...) so the PSD shows up closer to my field of vision.

    Hope that helps,
