RVI screens getting stuck

I've been programming on our EOS for the last few days for the first time since 1.9 was installed on our board and have discovered some weird screen issues between the board and the RVI. 

Basically, the RVI will decide sometimes not to go back to the 'Live' screen when I do. Consistently, when I go to Groups or Effects, it sticks and stays on that screen. It also sometimes happens after I update a cue - the RVI will stay on the CIA screen, and we can't find a pattern behind it. 

Is there something that I'm missing to make this stop happening?

    I am assuming that the RVI's are the same user as the main console, but that you are not mirroring? I had an issue a while back that sounds similar to what you describe. Basically, when you press Live, the PSD will pull focus back to the front, but the channel screen will not (on the RVI). To solve this, I had to have the programmer put his blind display pages (group/effects/pallets etc..) on the same screen as the PSD. The Live Channel Tab (1) would then be on Screen 2 (without the CIA)

    As for the CIA staying open, sometimes hitting clear an extra time after a command (update or undo) will get it closed again. Or hit displays on the main desk to force the CIA open again, then hit clear to close it and the RVI will catch up. 

    Or at lease that is my memory. I kind of got tired of the same user non mirroring bug and have switched to keeping my RVI as a different user and jumping into mirror mode when I want to.

    Which version of 1.9 are you running?  On the About screen, you can find the full version number on the right hand side -- something like 1.9.X.9.0.X.
