Fixture Parameters on Faders

Question

I can't imagine that this isn't possible, but I've been fighting with it for a while so I figure I need someone to hold my hand through the process. I have a bunch of S4's on motorized yokes with DMX Iris kits. What I'm hoping I can do is program a set of 4 separate faders on a wing to control the Intensity, Pan, Tilt, and Iris of a single Source 4. Intensity is easy enough, but I'm finding it rather difficult to get fader control over the other parameters. What am I missing? 
 The reason for my set up (If someone needs to know) is that I'm trying to run my Fader Wing a considerable distance away (@ my FOH Mix) and I don't want to drag the whole ION down every time I'm running a show from the FOH.

 The easiest way to do this is a selective store of the parameter into the submaster. I like to do it in blind thusly: 
 
 [blind] [sub] y [enter] 
 channel x {parameter} at Full (where {parameter} is pan,tilt, or iris) 
 
 You select the parameter that you want from the parameter category buttons in the CIA. Assign the submasters to faders and you should be all set.

I just had a quick go at this in EOS offline for pan and tilt and discovered that the subs only go from 0 to the maximum positive value, not the full range. This might be a bug or certainly an unintended limitation. 
 I recently had to do CMY parameters on faders and had no problem, but because they use the 0-100 range I did not notice the limitation of no negative values in the sub. 
 At least for pan and tilt, the sub is made proportional when recorded in
 blind like I went through above. Not sure if that holds true if it is 
recorded live.

The issue that you're seeing here is the Home values of the fixtures you are trying to control. 
 
 A submaster at 0 will put the fixture attributes at their Home values. Home values for RGB LED's are at Full - to get White output. Home values for Pan/Tilt are 0 - but this is 0 degrees not 0%/0 DMX. 
 The quickest way to resolve this would be to create a Preset with RGB at 0 and Pan/Tilt at their minimum values. Then in Setup - Show - Show Settings - change Home Preset to the Preset you have just made. 
 This should now fix the behaviour of a Sub at 0 - so that your LED's react the correct way round and you will get full Pan/Tilt range.
