removing a sub from a cue

Hello. Here is my question. I was making a cue and recorded a sub into it. When I went to the cue and noticed my mistake I used [group] [sub] [40] [out] then [update] [enter]. As soon as I hit enter it comes back. Then I tried the same as above but insted of [update] I tried [-] [sub] [record] [cue] [10] [enter] with same result. I ended up just parking the sub at 0. I did someting wrong just cant figure it out.

Thanks

I would assume that the Sub is still live on a fader somewhere, or has possibly been driven from the command line. Group Sub Out is a manual instruction. When you Update that manual instruction is 'released' allowing the channels to return to their background level, which in this case are probably coming from the Sub. If you don't know where this sub is being controlled from just try [Sub] [40] [Home] after you do the update. that should get rid of those sub values

    hope that helps.

  • Its crazy because if I goto cue out it goes out! When I bring the cue back up its back! When I did [group] [sub] [40] [out] and all was in red shouldnt [record] [cue] save that? It still came back..

     PS on an ION
