I have just finished programming Les Miserables at the theater I am currently working at. I am having a problem which I think is a latency issue. I am hooked up to a Ethernet to DMX node and have 3 new CEM+ modules on the dimmer racks in the basement. Also there is a ETC Net2 box down there. When I am controlling movers and other DMX fixtures there is no lag at all. But when I fade or increase intensity on my conventional there seems to be a rough dimming curve. So I check the curves on the console and nothing was unusual it was on a smooth dimming curve. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you fix it? Or if anyone has some idea of what could be causing it please help me out.
