I got an e-mail from one of my staff asking where the SWAP key was on the ION console. An outside user was trying to find it and the manual with the console said there was one so what gives? I replied that there hasn't been a SWAP key on our console since we put it in service, that it had been replaced with the TAB key. I am now making sure that everyone has the update sheets but they are really hard to navigate--no reference to TAB or SWAP keys in the tables of contents.
The upshot of this tale of woe is the question, when is ETC going to publish a more current manual? The console of 1.9.6 bears faint resemblance to the console of 1.7. The update document runs over 40 pages. It's time.
