external monitor hangups

Holding down the [Tab] key and pressing the left or right arrow keys will move the currently-selected (gold) Tab from one monitor to the other.
- Unless you have a module open above the CIA, in which case Browser > Virtual Controls > Close Module and click on 'Above the CIA' to close it.

If you don't have a [Tab] key, contact ETC or your local dealer and get yourself a free new keycap set!

While you're waiting for those to arrive, the [Swap] key is now [Tab].

Also, in the shell settings, under monitor arrangement, there is an option for setting the primary monitor, which will be the one with the CIA.

I have the same problem since upgrading but in the shell settings it wont allow me to change the primary display if i tick the other monitor to become a primary it just disables it

Just had another go at this stil will not let me use other display as primary but according to the v19 supplement Ion will not allow multiple Live/Blind tabs or playback status tabs however mine will let me have as many as i like

Is one of your monitors on DVI and the other VGA? I'm not sure if it has changed with the new option to select which is the primary, but I know prior to 1.9.5 no matter what, the VGA connection was always the primary screen.  Due to hardware things, maybe that is still the case even though it now gives you the option.

Or if you are using two DVI's, then never mind.

Thanks for the reply yes one screen is vga the other dvi and before the update the vga was the primary screen which was good as it was a touch screen and if you needed to you could use the swap button to swap the displays over now I can only select  the dvi screen as the primary.
