More than one Playback Status Display

In an attempt to solve another problem I unknowingly loaded 4 playback status display tabs on my Ion console and now I can't seem to get rid of them. The only option the browser gives me under Playback Status Displays is "new". Also "close module" under "virtual controls" doesn't seem to apply to PSD's.

Is there another way to get rid of them?

With the window highlighted (gold border around the window), hit [Escape].

[Tab] & [Clear] will also close all open tabs except for the 2 default screens - Playback Status & Live Channel/Table.

I'm having trouble with this.

Is it still [Tab] & [Clear] now we have the shift key?

[Shift] & [Tab} didn't work for me, nor did highlighting them and hitting [Escape].

Testing this on an Ion running 1.9.8., I'm finding that I can get rid of a Tab that I'm sitting in by: Holding [Tab] and pressing [Escape].

To collapse all extra Tabs by: Holding [Shift] and pressing [Tab].

Wierd I came in this morning Pressed Shift and Tab and the annoying extra Playback display tab and channel display tab were closed. Despite me doing exactly the same thing last night.
