how to set different cuelist

Hi,

I want to know how to assign different cuelist to faders.

Amd does it possible to set different cuelist tranking mode?

for example, Main cuelist is tracking mode, the other one is non tracking.

How to do it?

Thanks,

Vincent

  • Tracking is an editing function, it's not a playback function so this setting doesn't apply to individual cuelists.

The "Tracking/Cue Only" setting chooses the default cue editing mode for the console, which you can then override on an individual action-by-action basis.

To be honest, I'm not really sure what result you're trying to acheive here. Could you explain what you're trying to do?

  • Thanks,

Just wondering if it possible to make different tracking mode between cuelist.

That make me moe clear about ION rule. Nothing special.

That's mean before you create a show, you had better decide what's mode you use.

  • You can start programming in one mode and swap to the other mode at any time. You can swap as many times as you like during programming!

Swapping between tracking and cue-only modes doesn't affect the storage of cues; it simply affects how you store them at the time. So, you don't have to decide before you start creating a show.

For example, I most frequently program the desk in tracking mode. If, however, I want to make a few changes after it's plotted, I'll usually use the cue-only button. It could be advantageous to change the desk mode to cue-only if you wanted to do some serious re-plotting, to prevent "heat of the moment" accidental lights tracking to the end of the show!

Not necessarily.  While you should be aware of what mode you are using, you can change the mode at any time in settings as well as toggle the behavior at any time with the Cue Only/Track button.  As Richard said, track mode is only about building and editing cues.  Cue lists always make tracks, on storing an edit, you just need to decide whether you want to follow them or not.
