CLEANUP for palettes

I have an ION with v 1.9.6 installed. I tried the syntax in the 1.9 supplement for creating BY TYPE palettes from existing ones, but wasn't successful.

I entered Color Palette 200 Cleanup Enter in blind. The palette applies to channels 31 thru 38 but I saw no channel number in the By Type column after executing the command.

What is the correct syntax?

First you need to specify the palette to be By Type: [Color Palette] x {By Type} [Enter]. This will make the lowest channel of each type as the "By Type" channel, however you can define a specific channel: Chan x {By Type} [Enter].

Then you can cleanup.
